Favorite River: The Ohio River

River Story: My entire life has been tied to rivers. I was born on the banks of the Ohio River, married at the confluence of the Ohio and Muskingum, fought to bring health to the San Gabriel and Los Angeles rivers in Los Angeles, advocated to restore the San Joaquin in Northern California, and took a journey to get healthy along about every river in Ohio. No matter where I have lived and what I have done, the local river has been a main player in my story and for that I am thankful!
