SALEM, Ore. — American Rivers is delighted that the Oregon State Senate has confirmed our Northwest Regional Director, Sarah Dyrdahl, to serve on the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB).

“As someone who has dedicated my career to protecting watersheds across the Northwest, it is an honor to serve OWEB on behalf of Oregon’s people and wildlife,” said Dyrdahl, a longtime Eugene resident.

“I’m excited to contribute to OWEB, which has supported my work for many years and shares American Rivers’ commitment to watershed and habitat restoration, thriving communities, and strong local economies.”

American Rivers is grateful to Governor Tina Kotek for appointing Dyrdahl to this important role and for her dedication to clean and healthy rivers and watersheds.

Dyrdahl will serve a four-year term as a public member on the 18-member board.
