What the Grand Canyon means to me.

Colorado River, CO | Lew Wilson

Though I never been to the Grand Canyon in person. I did spend much of my youth visiting the Colorado River with my family. Where I learned to water ski, knee board and even drive a jet ski. I loved to dig in the sand along the river to often find the natural red clay that I’m sure held great use for Native Americans in the past. I was absolutely fascinated that something so usefully could come straight out of the land. My time spent on the river gave me great love and respect for the beautiful river that helped form this Grand Canyon which I plan to visit one day soon with my own daughter who has so very much interest and love for all nature especially the beautiful land that we love. It would be devastating to see it altered in any way. Because the natural beauty of it is what brings people from all over the world to it. Please keep the Grand Canyon pristine as it has always been.
