Clean-up Information

Boater and walkers will follow the river bank to remove trash along the Arkansas River. Volunteers are encouraged to visit their favorite recreation spot along the Arkansas River to pick up trash and drop off their bags to Centennial Park on May 21, 2023, 1-3PM. Royal Gorge RIO will weigh the trash bags and dispose of found items. There will be a small celebration lunch and a chance to win prizes! Volunteers are encouraged to bring a water bottle, gloves, and sturdy shoes. Anyone interested in signing up can do so by sending inquiries to: royalgorgerio@gmail.com
