River Day is designed to inspire love and appreciation for local waterways of the Clinton River Watershed and Lake St. Clair through education, stewardship and recreation events all across the watershed. These events include (but are not limited to) trash cleanups, nature hikes, bike rides, restoration projects, native plantings, picnics, canoe trips, kids’ games, art contests, fishing lessons, and more!
This year, River Day will be held on Saturday, June 9th.
This date coincides with Michigan’s Free Fishing Weekend and Michigan Water Week providing a great opportunity to celebrate all that the Clinton River, its Watershed and Lake St. Clair have to offer!
