Monday, April 2nd, 2018 at 8 a.m. – Phon D Sutton Recreation Area
Sign-in: 7:30-8:00 a.m. | Safety Briefing: 8 a.m. | Cleanup starts: after safety briefing
What to bring: please bring a pair of work gloves to protect your hands, otherwise we will have some you can borrow. You are welcome to bring trash grabbers and buckets if you have them.
What to wear: Check the forecast & dress accordingly. Please wear clothing and shoes that can get dirty, possibly muddy. Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, thick-sole & closed toe sturdy shoes, hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. If you have a reusable water bottle or hydration backpack, this is a great time to use it. We’ll have jugs of water for you to refill your bottle or pack. We will also have bottled water; consider bringing a backpack to carry some with you.
Tonto Recreation Pass: You do NOT need one to participate in the event!
Snacks: We will have snacks for volunteers. If you have any dietary restrictions, you may want to bring your own snack.
Bathrooms: There are public bathrooms at the recreation area
Youth Volunteers: This is a great opportunity for youth! Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied & supervised by an adult or group leader. Please let us know if you need a copy of our youth volunteer waiver.
We are meeting at the Phon D Sutton Recreation Area. If you can, please carpool to ensure everyone can find parking. Click the link above or Google Phon D Sutton Recreation Area, Fort McDowell, AZ. We will have Natural Restorations signs and arrows out the day of the event. When you arrive at Phon D, park and come over to the table by our banner to sign in.
