Clean-up Information

This year, the Thornton Conservation Commission will host at a cleanup event on Tuesday, June 22nd to focus on removing trash and debris where the river flows through Thornton. Ski Fanatics in Campton, NH and Art’s Outfitters in Lincoln, NH will provide free kayaks, shuttles and trash bags to anyone who signs up on this day! Shuttles only happen certain times of day beginning at 9AM and depending on interest, you may have to share a a double kayak or canoe with someone. Anyone who has their own equipment and transportation on the river is also welcomed to join us. You can pick up trash bags at the Town of Thornton Office.
