Moodna Viaduct at Schunemunk Mountain State Park

Join us as we gather for our annual Trees for Tribs community event.
We’re asking all local community volunteers to join us on May 14, 2023 12pm-4pm for our annual community tree maintenance project along the Moodna Creek.
Meet at the corner of Otterkill and Taylor Rd, near the Salisbury Mills trellis in Schunnemunk Mountain State Park.
What we do: We take care of native trees planted along the Moodna Creek to preserve our estuaries. This annual maintenance event benefits nearby towns such as Cornwall, Washingtonville, New Windsor, and Salisbury Mills.
Bottled water provided.
We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that can get dirty, a hat, sunscreen and tick repellent. Please bring sturdy work gloves and pruners if you can.
The site is suitable for children **ONLY** with adult supervision.
