Clean-up Information

This is a cleanup of the area around the Jaime J. Zapata Memorial Boat Ramp on Highway 48 between Brownsville and Port Isabel. All cleanup supplies such as gloves, trash bags, trash pickup tools, insect repellant, sunscreen, and hand sanitizer will be provided. Cold water, snacks, and food will be provided. Giveaway prizes for volunteers will be given out to volunteers raffle style after the cleanup. Cameron County Precinct 1 constables will be on site with lights flashing on the cars at each end of the bridge. Reflective vests will be available for volunteers.
