Hudson River Shoreline Cleanup

oin Green Ossining and Riverkeeper for a clean up of Ossining’s shoreline on Saturday, May 4, 2019 for the 8th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River and its tributaries.

Volunteers will meet at the stage at Louis Engel Waterfront Park (160 Westerly Road, Ossining, 10562), where parking will be available at Ossining’s Metro North Train Station. You can park and/or walk to the Riverside of the train station to find us. Louis Engel Waterfront Park is located across the MetroNorth tracks just south of the Ossining Train Station. We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, a reusable water bottle, and snacks. If possible, a pair of waterproof gloves are a plus! This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with proper adult supervision.
