Clean-up Information

Headwaters Outfitters offer one of the best volunteer gigs in WNC in the French Broad River every year in May. We send 30 of our tandem canoes downstream on the first 9 miles; finding everything from bottles, cans, plastic, tires, lawn equipment and more! Collecting tons of trash each year. We provide volunteers with a light hearted breakfast and sponsored lunch, plus a volunteer t-shirt. Roadside volunteers available as well!
