The 4th Annual Clear Creek Clean-Up hosted by Downstream Adventures is expanding this year. In the past, the raft guides of Clear Creek have taken advantage of early season low water levels to pick up their “office”. This year, the local businesses that have supported the clean-up in the past with food and libations are putting boots on the ground to help remove the trash that gets washed into the creek every year. There will be both floating and bank clean-up crews, so come dressed for whichever crew you’d like to be on. We will meet up at Downstream Adventures at 9 am to pass out trash bags and organize volunteers. Food, beer (for those over 21) and prizes for volunteers will take place at 5 at Downstream Adventures. Lunch will not be provided, but most volunteers will be near downtown Idaho Springs where there are many tasty choices! (Check out Tommyknockers, Smokin’ Yards, or Two Brother’s Deli). Please contact [email protected] for more information.
