Arkansas River Clean-Up

Lake Dardanelle State Park is providing an opportunity for people to come together to make a big impact. Volunteers are needed for our Annual Arkansas River Cleanup from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The amount of trash and debris collected and removed on this day will improve the health of wildlife, people, and habitat of our local waterways year round. Those with their own boats, canoes, and kayaks are encouraged to participate. Those who do not have a boat may pre-register to use one of the park’s kayaks during the clean-up by calling (479) 967-5516, extension 2. Kayakers must be at least 7 years old, and anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian present. A shoreline cleanup option will also be available for those who do not wish to kayak.
