Clean-up Information

Due to COVID-19, the cleanup will be held virtually, and is optional during our virtual Rally for the Rio event.

Participants are encouraged to clean up in their local neighborhood, and supported by Amigos Bravos by offering free American Rivers trash bags, and by posting the success of participants and their feedback virtually. Bags will be available at Amigos Bravos with no contact pick up.

Amigos Bravos neither endorses nor advocates for participants to gather in large groups, mixed households or groups. Amigos Bravos neither endorses nor advocates for participants to pickup trash in wilderness areas during this optional event.

Participants will report back to Amigos Bravos via social media, and videos regarding their participation in the cleanup; i.e. amount of trash collected, and interesting items collected. Number of sites to be cleaned depend on number and demographics of participants.

Amigos Bravos does recommend that all participants follow the existing Public Health Orders for safety and security.
