Clean-up Information

AHRA invites you to the 30th Annual CleanupGreenup in conjunction with Colorado Public Lands Day!
1. Pre-register for the event online at http://bit.ly/AHRACleanupGreenup.
Or, register the morning of the event at the AHRA Visitors Center at 307 W. Sackett in Salida or the Community Center in Buena Vista.
2. Sign up to clean up a section of the River or your favorite public lands at http://bit.ly/AHRACUGUSites.
3. Trash Drop-off between 10a – 2p at the Vandaveer Ranch*
4. Volunteer Picnic Lunch between 12p – 2p at the Vandaveer Ranch*
*We are hosting this event in conjunction with Salida Rec’s Touch-a-Truck event this year! Find both of us at Vandaveer Ranch:
As you leave Salida on Highway 50, turn right before your reach Big O Tires onto CR 104. Continue until you reach a left-hand turn in the road and the entrance will be right there.
5. We’d love to see your finds! Prizes will be awarded for “Largest Piece of Trash,” “Strangest Piece of Trash,” “Most Upcycle-Worthy Piece of Trash,” and “People’s Choice.” Take a picture with your submission and email it to ahra@state.co.us.
6. Log your time: Any individual who completes at least 48 hours of logged CPW volunteer work within a 12-month period is eligible to earn a free volunteer pass. To create a volunteer profile and log hours for this opportunity, visit the CPW CUGU Volunteer site at http://bit.ly/AHRACleanupGreenup.
