Rebecca Green

Associate Director of Philanthropy

Prior to joining American Rivers in October 2021, Rebecca earned her MBA with a specialization in Sustainable Business Practices from the University of Oregon.  She had previously worked in the DC area for 5 years in the nonprofit fundraising and events space.

She was drawn to the organization because of an alignment of core values and American Rivers’ commitment to protecting healthy rivers and restoring damaged rivers to ensure all people and wildlife have access to the clean water they depend on for generations to come.

Rebecca is a member of the Advancement Team and serves on the major gifts team as Associate Director of Philanthropy dedicated to supporting the many generous individual partners supporting American Rivers.

In her free time, you can find her exploring the many outdoor wonders Colorado has to offer, enjoying the Denver food scene, or at the park with her dog Tex (a rescue named after her home state of Texas).
