Kascie works to build public support for river protection efforts in western Montana through collaboration with local citizens, river users, anglers and hunters, business owners, elected officials and other conservation organizations.
Kascie joined American Rivers in June 2014. Originally from rural Maryland, Kascie spent four years developing and implementing water quality outreach, education and advocacy campaigns in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. She moved to Montana in 2011 for a change in topography and to pursue graduate studies. Kascie has worked for various watershed organizations in Montana focusing on public engagement in watershed planning, policy and direct stewardship activities.
