Brendan plans, develops, and implements lobbying strategies for policy issues identified as priorities within American Rivers’ strategic plan. He serves as a point of contact between American Rivers and decision-makers on Capitol Hill and within the Administration as well as working with River Basin Directors and Conservation Strategy Directors to develop proactive lobbying campaigns. Brendan also supervises Government Relations interns.
Brendan joined American Rivers in 2015. Prior to that, he worked on the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs for Senator Jon Tester (MT). He has grown up by rivers in New York, Massachusetts, Maine, and Ohio.
