ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
David James Duncan is a lifelong loiterer along riverbanks and author of the novels The River Why and The Brothers K, the story collection River Teeth, and the nonfiction collections My Story as Told by Water and God Laughs & Plays. Throughout all his creative works is David’s celebration of free-flowing rivers and wilderness, imaginative and religious freedom, the tragicomedy of the writing life, and the biological and spiritual importance of wild salmon.
