What is the River Budget?
The River Budget, an annual publication developed by the river movement, is used to guide the U.S. government's investment in river conservation. River conservation groups put a high priority on federal budget decisions for one reason: government spending has a huge influence on the health of rivers, and thus on our communities, fish, wildlife, water quality and quantity, and recreation.
