Volunteers: What to Expect on Cleanup Day
A few helpful hints for what to wear and bring on the day of the cleanup.
What to Wear:
- Clothes that can get dirty or wet
- Sturdy shoes (no sandals or flip-flops)
- Long pants or high boots to avoid scratches
- Gloves
What to Bring:
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- Snacks
- Reusable water bottle
Expect to attend the cleanup even if the weather isn’t perfect. Most cleanups take place Rain or Shine. In the case of extreme weather, it is best to stay home.
