How do we ensure accountability?

American Rivers works hard to protect and restore our nation’s river system. Through 40 years of experience we have had many great accomplishments and been recognized for these efforts. American Rivers has received high marks by independent accoutability monitoring organizations, such as Charity Navigator and Giving Library.

Giving Library

American Rivers was selected as a featured environmental nonprofit when Giving Library was launched in 2012.

Thanks to the commitment of our supporters, American Rivers continued to protect wild rivers, restore damaged rivers, and conserve clean water for people and nature. Here is a snapshot of the inspiring conservation achievements that we accomplished.
