Brian Waldrop – Missouri Stream Team
Brian Waldrop is the St. Louis and Southeast Regional Stream Team Assistant for the Missouri Stream Team program. Brian has been involved with the Stream Team program since the late 1990s. In this time, and in his position as coordinator for a large region of Missouri, his organizational efforts have created incredible improvements for Missouri’s waterways, which is a direct reflection of his passion for clean waterways.
Brian looks to expand the program by engaging schools and youth groups in the Stream Team effort, thus lending a big hand to create the next generation of Stream Teamers. With his use of social media, Brian inspires people in other parts of Missouri, as well as in other states, to take up the Stream Team banner, promoting river stewardship efforts well outside of his nominal "jurisdiction."
As just one of many examples, in a single day in 2013, his organized efforts led to the collection of more than 1,000 tires from a waterway and that was just by lunch time!
