Free-flowing Pennsylvania Request for Financial and/or Technical Assistance
American Rivers administers Free-Flowing Pennsylvania, a program that provides technical and financial assistance to dam owners and communities interested in removing dams and restoring rivers. This program is funded through generous grants from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Growing Greener program, the Richard King Mellon Foundation, the Western Pennsylvania Watershed Program, and others.
Free-Flowing Pennsylvania accepts requests for assistance on an ongoing basis. Your submittal of the form below will introduce us to your proposed project, enable us to consider it for assistance, and serve as documentation of your interest in our program’s services. Please send site photos, if available, to sstrassman@americanrivers.org or Pennsylvania Field Office, American Rivers, 355 N. 21st Street, Suite 309, Camp Hill, PA, 17011.
