(April 2010) In early April 2010, Senator Merkley of Oregon joined Kavita Heyn (American Rivers) and members of the Molalla River Alliance for a short rafting trip down the Molalla River. The Molalla is a candidate for Wild and Scenic River designation, with legislation currently in Congress sponsored by Senator Merkley, Senator Wyden and Representative Schrader.
