American Rivers Appoints New President

American Rivers, the nation’s leading voice for healthy rivers and clean water, announced today that following an extensive six-month search, William Robert (Bob) Irvin, current Senior Vice President for Conservation at Defenders of Wildlife, has been named the new President of American Rivers, succeeding Rebecca Wodder. Irvin will begin as President and CEO on July 18, 2011.
