Check out this great piece written by April Ingle, executive director of Georgia River Network, calling on the Obama Administration to create a "National Blueways Initiative" to provide a helping hand to communities who want to create water trails. Such a program would connect people with their rivers, provide a fun way to get youth outdoors, and enhance local businesses and quality of life.
