Join the Susquehanna River Trail Association for the 2009 Great River Adventure on Saturday, June 27. Participate in the ever-popular “Island Hopper,” a leisurely trip from Fort Hunter to City Island featuring four new island stops with hand-on activities. This event is perfect for families and those interested in learning about the Susquehanna River. For those that want to exercise their paddling might, join the Canoe Club of Greater Harrisburg Community Race from Fort Hunter to City Island. All participants get a specially designed medal. And don't forget the post race picnic, awards, and music!
