May 28, 2009 | Dams & Dam Removal, Restoring Rivers

Our Board members continue to help spread the word about the importance of healthy rivers and the harmful consequences communities face when their rivers are damaged. Most recently American Rivers Board member Tom Skerritt lent his acting skills to the new documentary Rivers of a Lost Coast. The film examines the history of the fly fishing culture in California and how it struggled during the 1980s as salmon and steelhead started to disappear.
