American Rivers Teams up with AARP to Encourage River Cleanups

AARP is launching a national call to service with its Create the Good Campaign. They are helping people of all ages across the nation to take action to improve their communities by volunteering for a few minutes, a few hours, or a few days.
As part of our involvement with this campaign, there is new animated video which outlines the steps involved in planning a river cleanup. Cleanups are a great way to bring people together and help your neighbors understand the importance and beauty of your rivers.
Watch the video now, share it with your friends, and get inspired to organize a river cleanup or take part in other volunteer opportunities to make a difference in your world.
