Save it if you’ve got it: The case for water efficiency in the Great Lakes

I had the opportunity to write a guest post for the Healing Our Waters website HealthyLakes.org on water efficiency.

Water efficiency is an incerdibly important subject these days given the numerous droughts we’ve seen the past few years around the country. But many people would ask why water efficiency in the Great Lakes is important, judging that there are billions of gallons of water there. But when it comes to water and our changing climate, we really should really make sure we are adequately protecting our water resources. You can never predict how much water will be there in the future. Plus it just makes good economic sense.

Water efficiency is cost effective. Why waste money when you can save it and your water, too?
