Great Lakes Workshop Addresses Stormwater Pollution
On July 22nd, American Rivers and Midwest Environmental Advocates will host a free hands-on workshop addressing local regulations and policies that can be changed to reduce runoff and improve the overall health of our rivers and streams.
This workshop, based on American Rivers’ publication Local Water Policy Innovation, will include topics such as understanding the local political landscape, choosing a local regulation or policy, key components of ordinances, and mobilizing community support.
So, if you are a political leader, a watershed coordinator, a planner, or a concerned citizen, you will be given the tools to make real change in your community as it relates to stormwater and your local landscape.
See the flyer for more details and information on how to register.
