Nominate a River Champion here

There are only a few days left to nominate someone for our first ever River Champion award. Nominations end at midnight on Sunday, February 16th. To nominate someone you must submit your nomination through the official nomination form.

As part of American Rivers’ 40th Anniversary, we are naming 40 River Champions. These are people who have been there with us in the good times and the hard times. They have been true advocates for healthy rivers, wherever they are located. Our staff picked the first 20 River Champions and we are asking our friends and followers to nominate the second 20 people.

So far we’ve received some great nominations for National River Cleanup® organizers, dam removers, river policy advocates, and more! There is still time to nominate a river champion from your community.

Submit your River Champion nomination in by midnight on Sunday, February 16th!
