Denise facilitates and manages river restoration activities across Oregon and Washington. She also leads and assists continued efforts to identify, cultivate and grow river restoration in the region.
Denise joined American Rivers in 2012. Prior to American Rivers, she spent 10 years working with local communities, private landowners and stakeholder groups on restoration projects. She is the recipient of the Spirit of the Oregon Plan Award from the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) for her facilitation of the community decision to remove the Brownsville Dam.
