Background: I’ve been drawn to rivers since childhood. My parents made river trips a priority every summer, and I eventually picked up kayaking and started raft guiding summers during college. Prior to interning with American Rivers, I interned for the Utah Rivers Council in 2010. I also volunteered for the Snake River Fund and for the River Restoration Northwest Symposium in 2012.
Education: B.A. in Environmental Science from Willamette University.

On November 2nd, the new stretch of the White Salmon River through the reservoir section and old dam site, down to the mouth of the Columbia opened to paddlers. And on Sunday the 11th, Wet Planet Whitewater hosted a float to explore and celebrate this stretch.
