Brian Kelly

Department: Resource Development
Area of Focus: Brian focuses on foundation relations and government grants. He works with program staff to help develop campaign materials to secure and maintain grant resources including proposals, reports, financials, and correspondence with funders.
Background: Brian joined American Rivers in 2010. Prior to that, he worked for five years as Development Director and then Deputy Director for Clean Wisconsin and six years as Development Associate for the Environmental Law and Policy Center of the Midwest. Brian's previous internship experience included technical writing for Earth Island Institute in California, water quality monitoring and habitat restoration experiments on the St. John's River in Florida and coastal/marine research in Paraná, Brazil.
Education: B.S. in Environmental and Biological Sciences from Antioch College
