Area of Focus: Simeon serves as part of the California Office team and provides support on river restoration projects, fundraising, project management and office administration.

Background: Simeon joined American Rivers in 2008 AmeriCorps service member through the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership. During his year of service, Simeon worked on a variety of projects related to river trails, mountain meadow head water health assessment and flood plain restoration.

Education: B.S. in Environmental Sciences (with a focus on fluvial ecosystems and aquatic ecology) from the University of Michigan
