Area of Focus: Chad focuses on building local and regional support for our Wild and Scenic Rogue River campaign in southern Oregon.
Background: Chad joined American Rivers in 2011. Prior to that he was Coordinator of the Rogue Basin Coordinating Council where he worked with watershed councils, state & federal agencies, and landowners within the basin. Chad also has sprinkled in work as a raft guide over the past thirteen years.
Education: B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont and a J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School.

Just before the end of the year, Senators Wyden and Merkley introduced a bill that would expand permanent protection on the Rogue. Please join me in thanking the Senators for introducing this bill and in encouraging them to work on this effort until the job is done by sending a thank you.

Last weekend I hiked down to Rainie Falls on the Wild and Scenic Rogue River to watch salmon make their always impressive upstream migration. Myself, a friend and numerous "fish-watchers" were not disappointed.
